The monk on Keb really is speaking in Zen Koans, time honored meditations full of meaning for those who meditate on them. Some while made up for the show, are still the same as similar things said in actual religions, so the flavor, the meaning, remains just as true.
BeantwoordenVerwijderen"Let there be no distance between you and where you are" is something similar to what the monk on Keb said, but means the same thing. It's deep and full of meaning, more than just a way to tell Jack to take off his shoes. :)
And me, I am a member of the Oma De Sala fan club, have spent a lifetime studying theology, and a practicing, living, Buddhist. My Doctoral dissertation at University was "Why God needs us more than we need him." I defended it sucessfully and got my Ph.D.
I'm also like Daniel, just can't stay dead for long. Been ascended, will do it again one day, but will deal with it differently than the last time I was ascended. Deal with THEM differently.
